Even with a spikey throttle pot on the nearside the old warhorse remained unbested over the bank holiday. I'm only now properly exploiting the power fully as I was just too nervous on even remotely damp roads - get the launch right and take it to the limit in 1,2 and 3 and OMG! Most enjoyable was the total and utter decimation of an Imprezza.

Anyone remembering my more "depressed" posts feel free to say I told you so now
