just recieved the new fuel pump for the ajp in the griff, but am confused about the outlet fitting on the pump, would anyone have a pic of what needs to be bolted onto the pump outlet?

the griff pump was a simple push on hose, same with the filter, I have the cerb filter and the required banjo bolts, but the outlet on the new pump is a smaller thread than the filter, just to confuse things, also the pump has a male thread protruding from it, I was expecting a female thread so a banjo bolt wold just screw into the pump, so what type/size of fitting is required for this , any ideas??

These people have a good selection of such things and will probably advise. So far they have never failed to deliver by the next morning too.

thanks for your help guys, but I`m having a numpty moment and cant see, or find what it is I need to get.

whats confusing me is that the outlet being a male thread will require a nut rather than a bolt, but it will have to be a capped nut as there is a small hole throught the end of the pump body, so I cant find anyone selling nuts, just banjo bolts.

hope that makes sensehehe

TT Tim, thanks for the specs, very usefulthumbup

Have you got a Pirtek near you?

Pop in with the pump and they should be able to find something to fit.

If the fuel pump is the same as the Bosch one (the OE Cerb' pump was a Bosch one) then the fittings are as shown below:

You should be able to pick up both bits for around £20 from ebay, or any good m'sport suppliers, like GPR or Demon Tweeks.

The end with the terminals is the outlet (obviously) and needs the banjo connector. The other end is the inlet and needs an adapter. You can either fit a JIC adapter to take an assembled hose end fitting, or a hose tail that the hose just pushes over. These are no end of places selling them as a set for around £25.
