Those of you who have an interest in the supercharged SX cars will know that they're rare. In fact 11 were built, one was written off within weeks and one went to Kuwait before Saddam called for tea and looting - leaving 9

Of these two were 400SX spec - IE a 390 with a Sprintex as opposed to a 350. One is owned by Adam Quantrill and the other has been languishing in Queensland for 15 years - but no longer. I saw it at Central Sports Cars last month ( Is that a Sprintex on that workbench?)and it's now been prepared and got an MOT. Good points - looks mechanically sound and the chassis looks like it's never been out in the rain. Points for attention, a few scuffs on the bodywork and the wheels look like they need a refurb.

It's silver with a green SEAC interior and if anyone's interested in one of the rarest wedges around the guys at Central Sports Cars will put you in touch, talk to Andy or Adrian on 01384 571021

Hopefully the owner will put it on marketplace too

I could be wrong, but I think this car is owned by Rob (Carob). I know it was up for sale recently, but don't know if it sold.
If it is the same wedge as I am thinking of, it is very nice.

Correct - Carob's car is the original dealer demo with 390 shell, SEAC interior and 350 engine.

This is very similar but has a 400 engine and needs a bit of tidying

As Jasper said mine is the Dealer Demo Car with the unique engine and body set up i believe.

Sure it will be an amazing Wedge and it will make someone a very proud owner.

Yes - owned it from new and went to the first round of the Tuscan Challenge in it in 1989!

Rob,

Nice, very nice.

Is that a grey or dark silver paint job?

If you get down south in the future I like to come look.
