Look out for something special from Audi, and I'm sure the Supercar parade / paddock will throw up some delights again this year.

I was at the Ball last year. The dragsters were all lined up on the lawn afterwards. I got to speak with the crews / drivers and get gassed close up by the cars when they fired them up. It was an amazing experience.

Hi All,
My first post so be gentle.

Just some up to date info about FOS 09 from someone in the know, This year the festival will be sponsored by Audi, with the main feature Audi themed.

Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton will be there again this year , as will many of the F1 teams with this years cars on display.

Peter Fonda (Easy Rider) is coming over from the States specially for the event and will be there for the three days, he will be there with the original Easy Rider Stars n Stripes chopper which will be on show and he will be doing the hill climb on the bike also,

Will young will also be performing in the evening for the drivers dinner.

The Manufacturers stands will be bigger this year with many of their new and upcoming models on show (As London Motor show cancelled)

Tickets are going fast. The best day IMHO is Sunday as thats when the competitive hill climb happens as opposed to the friday/saturday qualifying but all three days are spectacular, especially the and F1 cars screaming up the hill to the cheers of fans!

For the Rally fans, the Rally Stage will be gigger and better also!

Thats all for now.
cheers.
