Was wondering what fast car would you buy for 20k?

personally i'd have an elise,

s1 if its just for fun,

s2 if i wanted a bit more comfort and day to day use.

I would opt for an e36 M3 GTR...If not I'd get the GT2 version in red for around 12k and spend the rest on insurance LoL...does that count???!!!

I would doubt you could even buy a 993 GT2 bodykit for 16k,never mind the whole car.

Need more details on what you need the car for before making suggestion - my £20k would go on either a SWB S55K or an Exige.

funny you say that Ian.. there is a uber low mileage MB for £18k, but I would find a mint RS2 hard to turn down. I know there is one kicking around PH with 20k on the clock. Still smitten after having a shot of JS's one.

However, if its fast /dangerous/pretty cars, I have such a huge soft spot for 427's
