Help!

Ive got a problem! One that involves two people that have to go home after Le Mans, even though the convoy they came down with is going around Europe.

Basically, they cant get back! They arent tall/fat/seasick/carsick and can speak fluent English!

We are staying in Maison Blanche, but a lift back from anywhere near the track would be great.

Anyone have a spare seat or two for a return journey? They both live by junc 6 of the m25, basically the southern most point of the M25ring.

What day are they expecting to get back? Sunday or Monday? Theres a few of us going over Thursday to Monday, My car is full but im not sure about the others! I know we have a Van going down! We are around the Jcton 8 area of the M25 I cant promise anything right now but i will ask the Lads What sort of age bracket are your mates?

TGV.

Following a blown engine just outside Portsmouth one year one of our group hopped on the ferry, walked from the ferry terminal to the station in Le Havre, caught a TGV to Rouen, changed to a TGV to Paris, before a final change to a TGV to Le Mans...AND arrived before me driving from Le Havre to Le Mans!

Obviously coming back would be Le Mans -> Paris -> Eurotunnel.

Would recommend the train, used to use it to commute to just south of Le Mans, without any hassle. Le Mans to Paris, quick hop on the Metro, then Euro star to London. Its quick, clean and from what I remember fairly cheap. Think it used to take about 4 hours London to Le Mans.

The Eurostar website gives it as £211 coming back on the Monday morning, Le Mans - London. 5hr 13m including 1 change (Paris).

If you want to come back post-race on the Sunday £211 again if your willing to skip the finish (15:58 train), or £307 for a business class ticket on the 17:25 or 18:19 trains.

My wife is returning to the UK via TGV and Eurostar, whilst I drive the car back! She'll be back in the UK at home at about the same time as I get to Calais!

Not sure why she couldn't come back in the car!
