BBQ in Kenilworth on Sat 20th June?
Discussion
As mentioned at the South Mids meet tonight, Topboy is off to the British Grand Prix during the day on Sat & Sun, leaving me and the cats all alone with a beast of a BBQ
So does anyone fancy joining me in Kenilworth for a BBQ lunchtime ish on Saturday? I'll have the qualifying on the TV
Bring yourselves & partners (but no dogs except guide dogs, 'cause of the cats!!
), picnic rugs/something to sit on! Something to drink, and any speciality food if you feel the need to display your culinary skills to the rest of the Midlands crew (BBQ experts also wanted as I burn stuff on it
) - if you can make it gluten free, so much the better, as I know that there are a few of like me with wheat/gluten intolerences
I'm happy to do a Chilli, salad stuff, sausages and lamb & chicken kebabs
But if you can think of something different or out of the ordinary, then feel free to bring it so we can try it (be it bbq food/ side dish/ snacks/ dessert, or whatever). We can get some disposal BBQs if more space is needed!
If you have any allergies or particular/peculiar food preferences, then bring something to suit as I obviously won't know.
We have some parking on the drive, some on the road outside and a school round the corner that has a large layby that could be utilised, then there is the 'farm track'
Oh, and about 5 mins walk away is the free car park for the Abbey
Please post your name below if you want to make me feel less of a billy-no-mates that weekend
