Just after some help! Really want a tiger/westy type car, but I'm 6.1" and 17.5 light - have fitted in wide bodied westfield. Also wondered about disadvantages/advantages of bike engined cars over Zetec Duratec type. Many thanks

Had a Tiger Supercat E1 for many years, I am 6ft 3 and had no problems with leg room etc, although any lardy arses may find it a bit of a tight fit.

As to Bike engine or Zetec, Duratec depends what your intentions are, personally I found that driving around town with a pals M.K with a bike engine was to revy for me I found it hard work, but out on the open road, they are fantastic, But again and this is only my personal view, I would take the Car engine options, because they are a lot more user friendly.

plenty of room in a wide bodied westy ... I am 6foot2" so went for the lowered floor (theres a few about) ... I also opted to lift up my steering column with some alloy spacers ... westfield sports seats (standard padded ones) are good for bigger boys rather than bucket seats ... rac roll bar is a couple of inches taller than the single loop standard westfield one and is much safer ... removable steering wheels are good too for access and security (my next job)...

Car engine for road use and track use .... bike engined for mainly track although many use them and are happy with them on the road ...Car engine is the sensible option and if you can afford the duratec it is perhaps the one to go for being lighter
