Mid Essex Meet Sunday 10th May

Hi Folks,

Someone has asked for the thread to go up...so...here it is.....

Most will know the drill by now, but for those that don't (or forget, or pretend to forget) we'll be meeting at the White Hart as usual from about 11:00 for the main convoy leaving at 12:00, and if you're joining the Southend pose pre meet, at the bays on Thorpe Bay front by the yacht park (between Maplin Way Thorpe Hall Avenue) and between for 10.15 to 10.30 leaving at 10.45 (or thereabouts).

How do I get to the White Hart..?

1) Take the A12 towards Colchester,
2) Turn off at J19 (Boreham) – keep in the left-hand lane,
3) Take the 2nd exit,
4) Follow the road, it turns to a 40mph,

The White Hart is on your left a few hundred yards further on.
If you get to the roundabout, you have gone too far..!

Should be an excellent Meet.
We have a Guest Club coming along, please see your newsletters for details.

Any TVRs stickered up ready for some Le Mans action will be put at the top of the drive.
Please mail me so that I can reserve you a lil ol space.

Pete Reason will be at the White Hart.

The Kent pubmeet from the GTO club is on the 10th, then there's this local carshow in battlesbridge ( http://www.battlesbridge.com/events.php?article=77 ) on the 10th, and now this.

Maybe it should try and find a way to combine them all...

I've never been to the "mid essex meet" so i was just wondering how many cars usually show up, and if it's a club thing (tvr or lambo) or all kinds of cars just show up.

It's a monthly regional tvr club meet and when we can we invite another club to come along.
We meet up at the White Hart and then convoy off to a local golf club for a chat/laugh/drink/food but not always in that order!

Yup, it's a meeting for TVRcc members.
Hopefully we meet new and prospective members too.
Occasionally we invite along a guest club to add some spice....

I'm afraid throwing it open to every marque may well cause absolute chaos
Sometimes it's chaotic enough just with TVRs and guests and I also have to be careful to get the catering right!
