^^that's^^ a bit harsh
IMO - i'd have bought it to wear, so that's what i'd do.
did you get the watch to sell on? if not, and you don't need the money, then i'd wear it. i don't *think* an unworn example will appreciate that much in value in the coming years - and it seems a waste to have a few grand just sitting in the safe.
if you got it to sell, then i'd ask the interested party to hold on a week and put it on eBay for 1 week with the offered price as a reserve.

I have had the watch since release but have been offered list back on the watch should I take it or leave it
will replace with something else but then thats another task
I was offered the first in my dealers (Leeds). Went in to see it and gave it a miss.will replace with something else but then thats another task
There is little or no after market for this piece so if you keep it it's because you like it rather than because it will make you any money.

It's up to you what you do, but if you read tz-uk, watchuseek & rolexforums then you'll see they seem to be gaining in popularity all the time. If it's not for you, get rid, but it's an amazing piece of engineering.
I love mine, it looks great and I wouldn't part with it even for a profit.
It's a lot of watch for the money & a true 'man's watch'!

I disagree completely. Look at all the other great watches you could buy for that price. I'm not saying it's a good or bad watch but it's certainly wildly overpriced.
Over-priced it probably is tbh, but it's a lot of technlogy. The flexible titanium caseback, the ceramic bezel insert with platinum markers, the increased fluorescence, heavy domed crystal, on-wrist adjustable bracelet with hidden expansion links. I think it's a big step forward for Rolex where so much re-design has gone into one watch.
Lets be honest, no Rolex is 'worth' the cash, they're fairly 'good' watches whch survive on a mixture of reputation, low-availability on certain models and s
t-hot marketing, advertising and celebrity product placement. But, they represent good value in that they hold value better than Omega, Tag, Breit-bling, Cartier, etc, etc....
ETA: The OP has been offered all of his money back on his DS - how many watches would that ever happen with unless on a statutory return agreement?
