Has anyone changed the front lambda?

Any handy tips?

ive had them both changed many times (i dont do any work on the car myself so cant help with fitting etc.). my only tip is to buy it yourself from ford and not from main dealers they cost around £40 each not £85 as i was first charged.

i have a problem with my rear one in that every time they check it (about every month at present) its burnt out. i have had 2 on the front and 4 on the back since august.

getting the slight hump with this now! whats happened to yours then?

Hi Mate , i would think access will be the issue !!! take off the heat shield then hopefully you should be able to get at it from the top !!! is it dead then ??

Yep, mine's died, need to have a proper look and see if it's possible from the underside.

If its a 2.5 and its in the manifold then it is easy to get to once the heat shield is removed.

It's a 3.0 - but I've got a bigger problem now, see my other thread smile
