Did the silver trend just end?

Oi. I've got one.

Anyway there's a world of difference between a silver Griff and a silver Audi / Merc / BMW - how many Griffs do you see on the roads anyway???

Then again perhaps I should have a laugh at myself on this one - 5 out of my last 9 cars have been silver

Of course silver doens't show the dirt so much so it's ideal if you don't have a sponge or bucket of water. Not seen to many silver ones meself but thought Seasiders looked great(silver with dark red int.).

Silvergriff, I went to David Gerald's on the saturday morning that we bought our Griff, and saw two Griff's, both silver, one on the M42 and one on the A46 just outside Stratford.

I was after silver with red (ideally) 'til I realised there are few enough Griffs around without being colour specific. I ended up with metallic black / mauve(ish). Then in Sept/Oct Peninsula start advertising a 4.0, metallic silver/grey with mulberry. B*gger...anyone here buy it?

Quicksilver - the name says it all!!!
nb- nasty next door neighbour with very large new Range Rover took a chunk of paintork (about a one pence piece size) off my bonnet with his tow hook - the reason for mentioning this is that CHIPSAWAY did a fantastic job at a decent price - would fully recommend them
- but if there are other TIVS out there in Quicksilver be aware that it is a Rover colour and that there are two Rover Quicksilvers (pre and post 95) - paintshop in Blackpool very helpful in getting the correct match

ps *rsehole of a neighbour still hasnt owned up to it!!

I was originally looking to buy a dark blue Griffith, but settled for a Silver car, really glad i did as it rarely needs cleaning and have to say it looks classy, also with grey and red interior

Sorry to drag this old thread up, but I've just found another positive benefit of a silver Griff.

Some asshole piece of human waste keyed my Griff at the weekend....

But if I'd had a dark or bold colour, it'd be a million times more noticeable (and would require immediate respray $$$$)... it's not immediately noticeable on the silver paintwork.

Hurrah for silver!!

b'stards. Why cant people respect beauty when they see it rather than ruin it.
