Is anyone else thinking of doing the PetrolHead Nirvana Alpine tour?

I'm sorely tempted but I'm not sure I can spare the time. TBH it's more hit than miss frown

Can someone talk me into it?! wink

Well i'm certainly not going to try and talk you out of it Robin!

mind you why would you want a behind the scenes look at the Lambo factory or a trip to the Mille Miglia museum?

or the Fluella, Furka, Grimsel, Stelvio, San Bernadino, grand/petit St Bernards Passes anyway?
or staying in 4/5 star hotels, driving the route Napoleon, Monaco circuit or doing 156 tunnels in a morning?

Details here

we've actually got 17 out of the 20 places filled mate, i dont mind holding one for you and Ellie for a few days while you think about it.

or did that not help?

Shouldnt your topic say "will there be any pink lentil eating dragons on tour that will befriend me?"

I (and the girl) really want to go on this but I won't know if I can until June sometime , which I guess will be too late if 17 out of 20 places are gone...if I do it will be my 30th birthday in the middle of the tour!

I've just done the Millau tour and its is DEFINITELY worth it. I have been scuppered by annual leave restrictions, otherwise I would be on this as well. Seriously Robin, you'll love it. Everyone on the last tour had an awesome time, and the roads, hotels and organisation were brilliant.

Short video clip here as a teaser (am making a DVD, once I find a damn Firewire 800 cable!).

It is definitely worth it. Also, all the girls on the tour (there were quite a few) had a blast, so I'm sure Ellie will love it as well.
