Ive got the fastest noisiest and most beautifull car in the world but when i press the horn it sounds worse then my first 1954 Morris Minor?? It's embarresing and in fact anyone close when I press it looks around to see who has beeped because they cant believe such a feeble noise comes out of such a car?? Are they all the same or do I just have a very meek pathetic one?? I dont want a musical air horn or anything but just something more manly?? Also one other question should you try the emergancy door openers now and then to keep them working and is there any reguler maintenance you should do to them as I guess when you need them you really need them?

Am I alone in thinking the horn sounds good? I always think it sounds "happy" biggrin

Horn should be perfectly loud, if not you might have a bad earth or poor connection, most likely in the wires between the horn button and and ribbon cable that's fed down the steering column.

As for the door release handles, doesn't hurt to occasionally pull them as a test, make sure you lower the window a few inches before you slam it closed again as the door pops open without dropping the glass when you use the manual release.

biggrin

No it is actually quite embarrasing really - which is why it is seldom used ; and a seldom used horn is not a good situation. So perhaps I need a louder one at some point.
