Ok so have the car, insurance, tracker etc...

How about recovery? Who are you with? What type of policy? Any suggestions?

I went with the AA. Didn't bother with the "at home" but choose Relay (they take the car anywhere in the country you want if they can't fix it themselves, and also "Parts and labour". The previous owner had this and (again if they can't fix it) they pay up to £500 towards the repair cost. The last owner of my car had the clutch fail, and the AA paid £500 towards getting it replaced.

I pay monthly, about £13 I think. If you go through Quidco you can get £50 back.

I get 5 star RAC cover inc Europe through my Barclays Premier a/c. Had to call them out twice so far and been very helpful albeit not prepared to take the bonnet off but recovered the car home and to Racing Green instead!

Must check out if parts are covered as £500 towards a new clutch would be nice biggrin
