Keys Stolen

Arrived home today to find some thieving bast**ds had broken into the house.

Nicked my CBR 600rr, helmet, leathers etc but more disturbing (although they didn’t actually try to steal the car) they took my spare set of keys to the T350c .

Any advice on what I should do about replacing keys/immobiliser much appreciated (I still have a set of keys, but not the manual alarm fob).

Remove the ECU or something else critical until you can get it secured.

Do something quickly. If you're not that mechanically minded, I just pulled fuse 22 (I think - I'm not near the manual) which is the ignition coil.

I say act quickly because I note you're in Essex. This is starting to smack of organized crime. Somebody here had a similar occurrence in Southend and they came back quickly to get the car. Mine was in Billericay when they broke in and tried to remove it. There was something else in Kent....

Give Carl Baker a call, assuming that you have a Meta alarm system and a working 'blipper' you can put the system into learn mode and add or, more importantly, in your case remove blippers.

This will at least allow you prevent them from unlocking and disarming the alarm with the blipper they have. Of course they could still get into the car and manually disarm it with the 'fob thingy' if they know what they're doing.
