Alright chaps

Have my stag weekend coming up - was wandering where the best place to go karting in/near Leeds? Are recommendations?

Cheers

Pro am at Tockwith - they have just got all brand new 320cc twin engine karts this week - fast circuit (45-50mph) and a well organised set up - those that have been will tell you its a tricky circuit to get the corners right so makes for some interesting results.

Indoor track in the Thorpe Arch Estate near Wetherby. Haven't tried it yet so cannot give an opinion.

Pole Position is fatty friendly also, only one real straight and with decent technique you can have the skeletons through the twisties. Really rate it for that alone. It's a good fair track.

Bit rough under the tunnel though.

I think it's a bit poor really, when you start to enjoy outdoor tracks like Tockwith, the indoor ones feel very odd.

The bigger outdoor ones feel much better. The way you have to drive to win on PP's track is a bit too aggressive driven for my liking, not actually being really skilfull (all imho, no fun in just being a to win a race)

PPIK is impressive - nice kit as well as an interesting track. Tockwith outdoor great fun too, especially if it's greasy.

Speaking as a fatty, I can confirm those two hairpins are fiendishly difficult. Also tried the place at Thorp Arch a couple of years ago - quite good. Very technical track.

Pole Position in Leeds is great fun, really well run track and good standard of karts; well maintained and consistently good marshalling...
