Engine Swap Help

I currently own a 2005 VW Polo 1.2 and want to put something with a bit of GRUNT in my bonnet.


Does anyone know the easiest/cheapest "swap" i can do and would everything need replacing with a new engine, i.e brakes, gearbox.
