The postman delivered a familar sized package yesterday morning, which happened to be my latest toy; a full size black PO with white numerals biggrin I've been eyeing one up ever since seeing CJ's post in the 'Wrist Check' thread ... I originally had my heart set on a 42mm in orange, but it is strange how things can change after trying some on smile

I absolutely love it biggrin The second hand sweep is mesmerizing, the detailing on the back is exquisite and I now understand why so many people spend hours marvelling at the clasp. The entire watch feels so solid. The main aspect that jumped out at me most was the lume - Even on an overcast day, a few minutes outside and you can see the lume glowing under artificial office lights! The lume was rather noticable in the cinema last night too hehe

Thanks to Dominic H for sourcing the watch for me ... Cheers mate! thumbup

Here are a few select photos I took whilst at work:

Not the best lume shot due to the artificial lighting in my office ... Also the fact that I made it glow by using the camera flash! Hehe!

With the help of Dominic my order for a 45.5mm Orange PO went in today. Can't wait for it to arrive!

In the mean time if anyone has one, feel free to post some gratuitous pics to help me cope with the wait!

I think the 45.5 is a little big - but then I am biased. Mine is 42mm. I don't have the wrists for the big one. 42mm is probably the optimum size for me, with 40mm being slightly on the small side.

Lovely watch smile IMO it looks too big for you in that size, but I may be wrong. I kind of wish I had gone for black+white now...

no more.... please no more!!!

I want a Planet Ocean like nothing else...

The car savings fund might be diverted to a 45.5m multi-dial chronometer PO with orange bezel fund! frown

That's also in addition to the £250 for a night monster next month!! It's going to be an expensive year!

Awesome.

Don't listen to him. It will feel MASSIVE for a a few hours and then when you stick the TAG back on it will feel like a toy!!

I have had my 45.5 Black for a week and I love it more than my Sub LV. Awesome watch and not a bit "c0ckrocket"

Come on dude - 215 down and 215 a month for nine months and it's yours tomorrow. Think of it as a better investment than an ISA!

I didn't say it wouldn't feel massive(they do as they are so heavy), I said it looks massive on him. Still it is a great tool, good luck with it.

git!! Don't tempt me like that!!

Nah, I'm going to get one eventually but I've got other pressing things to do with my cash at the moment (like pay back the credit card companies for buying other goodies with their money!)

Sorry dude, didn't mean to offend.

It is a big old lump on the wrist, that's for sure.

But it does go under a double cuff, so it can be hidden when needed.

Why do people make such a big deal out of the size difference.

Face it 42mm is a "BIG" watch, 45.5mm is just over 1.5mm bigger all around.

It's fk all, OK you might not want it as a wart on the end of your nosehehe But 1.5mm on your wrist is neither here nor there.

I've handled both at the same time and back in the real world they look and feel 99% the same as each other. There's nothing in it.
I must say that is tosh, they are VERY different.
