Sierra donor help...

I am looking at getting a sierra as a donor for my kit.

Is it possible to find out what gearbox and diff sierras have in them without pulling them apart?

I.e. would all sierras 88-92 have LSD etc...

Basically I need a type 9 gearbox and a LSD. I understand the sapphire edition has a LSD but is that standard, and do they all have LSD.

If I remember correctly,Granada Scorpios also have an LSD,maybe only the V6 models,may be worth a look.

I has the LSD I think from a 4x4 sierra tis a 3.9 if I remember right and was from a 1990

xr4x4 or gls or cosworth 2wd diff is what you are after. Most sierras and saphires do not have an lsd.

had a engine rebuild in nov last year
