I can't begin to tell you how nice it is to finally be able to close my door with the window up and from the inside. Just a simple pull on the armrest and it closes.

No more ungainly "lift & shut" through the window for me!

Adjusting the top hinge was a b**ch, though.

eek don't say that - mine need doing!! got the new bushes and just waiting to get soem time with Mr Gadd to do both our cars.weeping

I've been told they don't make bushes for the doors anymore... obviously not true then. Is there a recommendation for anyone in the South East who can do it? How much might it cost?

you can get them from tvr car parts but i think they are bigger
but will still fit but how do you get to the top hinge i`v been putting it off for a long time i dream of nice fitting doors

Barry, there's a good thread on the FAQ. Basically, the top hinge is accessed by removing the door trim and the window/quarterlight aluminium frame. Access is then much easier but still a little tricky. I loosened off the bottom hinge a tad and then tightened the top one.

at hinges and could`t get to top one
will try again and take out quarterlight
