Anyone know how this is achieved?

Is it the optimal combination of beans, grind, tamp and water pressure (as the marketing would have you believe) or is some chemical filth involved?

I tried a friend's machine, and having not expected to like it, I'm now on 10 cups a day of the Fortissio lungo. nuts

Temp and the way it is decanted in to the cup I expect. 10 cups? That must be an £80 / month habit!

I was thinking the same.

Fortunately I have a 'job' which reduced my habit to 1 or 2 cups a day at home. Unfortunately when I'm doing my 'job' they charge 50p a cup for tea in the canteen so extra Nespresso would be a lot cheaper frown

£80 a month? Bugger. irked

However I suspect I may have to get a Nespresso machine for the ease and convenience in the morning if nothing else, and try and curb the habit during the rest of the day.
