It's the TVR Car Club magazine.

There is this brilliant editor who writes articles about the S Series. Love to meet him one day...

Surprised to see that he has the time to write these articles, given the time spent on the other car paperbag

Have you sorted the cooling problem yet?

No, bits haven't arrived for the other car, expected them this week. It's still usable as long as I don't go too far in a oner. Hasn't been out since the ill-fated Chatsworth attempt. Should have taken the S - it's a brilliant wee car - different but brilliant. MOT tomorrow though so that opinion may be subject to change...

On a more serious note, I need inspiration for things to write about, so any ideas welcome. Doesn't have to be technical articles, anything of interest to S owners welcome. Complete articles with photos even more welcome!

What would you like to see in Sprint?

Odds and sods like steering column bushes, the dreaded yellow connector etc?

feature cars?

special projects?

Oh please sir please sir I know I know me sir me sir! just had an idea but I'm not telling...

what else?

How about exposing where you can ACTUALLY but parts for the S as opposed to the supposed specialist TVR websites that list everything for the car whether they can supply it or not. Obviously I am not that bitter about wasting my time with numerous orders/enquiries.

I think there might be a bit of a clash of interests with the TVR Car Club taking adverts for various TVR Car Parts suppliers.

Hi Steve

Good to meet you this morning. As we discussed, once you find what the original bits came from, you can order a lot of them from motor factors etc. Problem there is you might pay less but might not get exactly the right part.

The bits may be more expensive from a specialist, but they're more likely to be the right bit.

I prefer the decetive approach and haven't been wrong yet. Have also used the specialists for bits otherwise unobtainable, no problems there either.

Hi Andrew,
I dont want to go off on an tangent, I just dont like wasting time placing orders from TVR specialist websites and having them get in touch to say things like this "we are currently looking for a supplier" or we dont have that part available even when you have quoted there own part number.
Like I said though I feel I am going off on a tangent.

Once I have the roof re-covered on my S4 I would be happy for you to see it. If its good enough then I am obviously happy having an article done on it - as long as I am not in it!
Cheers, Steve.

I persuaded Joo to write an article about his S - it was published a couple of months ago!
