Hi All

The heat protection on my bulk head is starting to look bit tatty, what have other people done with theres to tidy it up ?

Good question. Mine is too (given 6 and a bit years not surprising)...I've stayed with Gary Reynolds because he knows his way around the car and he's never screwed me. I know others will SCREAM at this.
Mine needs a 36K plus a bit of general tidying. Thinking of talking to the people at Brunters because then I might get to test the new wet weather car (Nissan GT arriving soon) and the Noble back to back in a suitable environment.

get a roll of pipe laggers wide alumuinium adhesive tape ,cut to fit ,polish with metal polish of any sort and hey presto blinging bulkhead

Not as cost effective as pipe lagging, but if you go to this link on the competition preparation part of the Demon Tweeks site there are a number of reflective/heat protection materials - including a gold foil version on the second page.... http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/products/ProductList... I`ve not used any of them yet but I know from friends cars that they are effective.

Bulkhead recovered in heavy duty glass fibre backed silver foil



Tank gets same treatment plus gold foil
