This can be helpful.
"Data sourced - ERIC/USA Av August 2005"Sterling has collapsed since then. I was paying the equivalent of £1.30 a litre last weekend for (albeit 98 Octane) unleaded in Germany. That website is showing 90p.
The AA site here is more up to date. Giving diesel in France as EUR1.07

Dragging this one up from the archives:
We're off to the Alps soon and have been scouting round for prices. Following one of the links on this thread it showed this one as useful: http://www.prix-carburants.gouv.fr/index.php
As before the hypermarkets are showing EUR 0.10 - 0.12 below autoroute stations.
Can anyone local confirm it's accuracy please? Marcellus, we're off to La Clusaz and visit Cluses occasionally so you're info would be useful?
Thanks

€1.17 at the Carrefour Cluses this morning
That looks like the petrol price, not diesel.I just checked the diesel prices at the Carrefour
at City Europe.
93 Eurocents, or about 88 p a litre.
Bargain, and the French get the profit.
