Britain's best drives.
Ok, not the Stig in an Atom giving it beans, but Richard Wilson (aka Victor Meldrew) in something subdued.
However, i've seen this one before and it's a good show and is great for route planning.
Tonight features an interest 'toll forest' in the North Yorks moors.

I've been through said forest road several times mountain biking and the Nuburgring it is not. Have to say I thought that program with Richard Wilson was one of the biggest missed opportunities I've seen on telly. I couldn't take any more and switched off at the point he started moaning about the speed the bikers were doing.
Yep, definitely.
Although, it's more 'autumn years' than 'golden era' I think. The golden era was surely the point that AC tested its Le Mans car on the M1 at nearly 200mph or when you could drift from corner to corner in a brand new Mk1 Lotus Elan. Whatever it was, I'm fairly sure it was more exciting than Victor Meldrew complaining he doesn't remember how to drive a manual!
