Need camcorder advice please
Discussion
Having never owned a camcorder before I need some advice.
Basically I am getting married in a few weeks and we dont want a pro videographer because the venue is small and I begrudge paying hundreds more pounds to someone for something we will probably only watch a few times. However we have agreed it would be nice to have a recording just of the ceremony (50 guests held in a schoolhouse in a hotel).
Now I have just found out that the still photographer we have employed are a husband and wife team and they have asked us if trainee can come along too. So my plan is instead of three stills photographers, give a camcorder to the trainee for the ceremony then she can give it to one of the guests for the rest of the time.
But my question is what camcorder do I buy. I have narrowed it down to a hard drive one or an SD card one. I am quite taken with this Sanyo SD card one - http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronics/3-/307...

Mainly because it is compact and records in HD and since it is small it is something I may use again in future. I really can't see me ever using a normal shaped camcorder for anything and the HDD ones I imagine are pretty heavy and bulky.
Anyway this little Sanyo is the right sort of price but is only 720p HD and records at 30 frames per second. Is this enough to ensure I get a good quality recording that isnt jerky?
Grateful for any advice at all...
