Took the monaro out of the garage this morning (for it's second run of 2009) and I noticed that there is something leaking underneath (can't pinpoint it as everything looks dry around the pipes etc).

When you look under the drivers side sill there's signs that something has wet the underside of the car (approx 20cm in from the sill). I popped the car up on the stands when I got home to check if there was a little crack in one of the pipes but everything seems to look ok.

Anyone have any ideas, as the car is coming over from the Fatherland next Friday night for the Drag Day and then another few thousand miles as we tour around too for the following week... frown

Its not just a puddle left from the air con dropping its stuff is it ??

Had similar with mine after a run - parked it up for a while and when i came back there was a puddle but no signs of leaks from the engine.

But the aircon would need to be on for that to be the case would it not?

Aircon hasn't been used in mine for donkeys frown

check around the steering rack, it might be power steering fluid which only leaks when it's under pressure and the engine is running. I had a cracked pipe and it emptied the reservoir in no time, makes a bloody mess too!

I checked all the fluid levels this morning and everything is sitting where it should be.

I'm a little worried that something is going to cack itself during the 2000 or so mile round trip it's going to get starting next Friday night when we head over for the drag day.

coolant from the heater hoses where they rub on the back of the R/H side cylinder head?

I had another real looky at it last night before leaving with work to Belgium - it looks like it could be down to one of the two reservoirs at the bulkhead (brake fluid etc) - the last time the car was out it was back in the UK for it's 3 year service and methinks they didn't screw the cap on fully - slight traces of dampness under the ridge on the side of the bottle and underneath.

It's now screwed on properly, so fingers crossed everything keeps running at least until Long Marston where there's some friendly owners around smile
