Mid Essex meet - convoys?

I am new to the TVR club and attended my first meet in March, going straight there from home (in my newly acquired V8S). I understand that there are convoys that drive to the meet. Sounds good to me. I live in Basildon. Anyone got any details about time and place for convoy starts for tomorrow?

Yes, tomorrow Sunday May 10th should be a great meet. Weather looks good and there are some guests from the Lambo Owners Club coming along as well.

Other than Southend people, most others go directly to the first meeting place just off the A12 at Chelmsford. FULL directions and details are here..

We meet there from about 11:00 AM and at midday head off in convoy to the main meeting place that you went directly to in March. It's a good cross country drive of about 30 - 35 minutes.

I have been doing some trawling through PH and I think there is a convoy starting from Southend. Do you know if the Southend one goes to the white Hart en-route to the foresters?

Yes, when there IS a convoy from Southend it always goes via the White Hart and we all leave from there at midday.

The Southend boys meet at the parking bays opposite Thorpe Bay sailing club @ 10:15 - 10:45am, but if you see my other thread:

Thanks for the breakki invite but I can't make that (due to dog walking commitment i.e trying to earn browny points from Mrs Robo).

However I plan to join you at TB at 1015 - 1030. Mines a BRG V8S (picture in this month's Sprint).
