Afternoon,

Some imbecile drove into the OH's parked car yesterday while she was in the office.

She managed to get the guy's details, so we can take it to a body shop to be repaired, if necessary - though for simplicity I'd rather remove the scratches myself.

The scratches aren't *too* bad....though it looks as if it has taken off a layer of paint.

I've used Super Resin Polish and Paint Renovator (AutoGlym) on the scratch- but this seems to have made no difference.

Any suggestions as to which products/techniques may help minimize/remove the scratch?

Cheers!

That looks like it needs to be painted IMHO frown

That is an easy job for bodyshop or even a good smart repair company which is the exact type of repair that they do best from looking at your pictures wink

Speak to Anatol on here he's your man for that ..

:P

Actually, Our Man in Yorkshire who I knew and could vouch for was Tony O'Reilly - now aka MalcoMan, nowadays purveyor (unless you want to actually buy some!) of fine Presta/Malco polishing products.

Not fond of waterborne paint technology, he jacked SMART repairs in and sold his ChipsAway franchise on...
