Anyone own a new(ish) 110 CSW XS
Discussion
I've had one for a year, we have done 12000 miles with a couple of very minor issues.
The kids love it, which makes for more pleasant days out.
I like Defenders which I guess helps, it's a vehicle that makes me smile inwardly every time I see it and I enjoy driving it. I'm sure some would argue a Jap motor would do more for less but I find nearly all of them vulgar to look at and really rather unpleasant to sit in.
For me it ticked all the boxes, good for towing, seven decent seats, good residuals, VAT back, and it's British built.

Thanks! It is comfortable? The one thing I love about the Disco is that it's just so comfortable. The kids love it, which makes for more pleasant days out.

The latest defenders are comfortable-compared to earlier defenders,if that makes sense.
Obviously you dont have Discovery levels of comfort, but defenders are an acquired taste and the only way to know if you can get on with one is to try one for a few days.
You will either love it or hate it-the Defender is that type of car.

We went from a top of the range D3 to a 110 CSW. You can't really compare comfort as such; they're two totally different vehicles. You can't describe a Defender as 'comfortable', however for lugging family and gear round and going for the odd off road jaunt, they're lots of fun. The Defender has it over the D3 on the cool front I think, but is in a different league to the Disco 3 from a driving experience. I love ours, but also love the D3; you need to drive one for a bit and see what you think.
