Exhaust clamps

OK, did i miss something in the build manual.
Ive just removed my silencers (to get to accumulator-relocation on the cards) and three of the Mikalor exhaust camp bolts have broken. Should i have put Copperslip on the threads when i installed them or was i just a bit over keen when i did them up?

3 broken would suggest you dont know your own strenght, it must of been the first job after the weetabix

I think if they were stainless steel like mine oil would stop pickup . You think your turnig the bolt and it feels tight but you are shearing it . I put EP 90 on mine and did them up frighteningly tight .
