Well it's not a 240R to start with... muppets... it's a 240 Cup, few differences, if you search back you'll get them, but most of it is the same, just there are 100 240 Cup road cars so not as rare and more basic trim.

0-60 in 3.9 seconds?

Yeah right.

Cool car, but I wish that these silly fake statistics weren't perpetuated, they just make people look silly when claiming that a Lotus can out-accelerate things like Enzos etc. The Exige is quick but it's not *that* fast in a straight line...

To be a bit more accurate there were 50 240 cup cars built. Without knowing the build number it is difficult to accurately state the spec but I believe this one is probably a "delete" spec model which would include aircon but not a full cage, fire extinguisher, or ignition kilss switch althought these could be specced on the basic car.

The key difference are the wheels, the 240r has lighter wheels, the yellow leather
trim combination and the 240r was only available in Black or yellow, wheras the cup was any colour. Oh yes and the 240r was a sort of "test" car for new performance mods.

I am sure there are others more knowlegable on the subject, but for myself give me a 240cup any day over a standard producton S/C
