Eddie really is dreadful, isn't he? He can't string a decent sentence together on the pit-lane walkabouts before the sessions on TV. Whoever at the BBC thought it was a good idea to hire him must be squirming in their seat now, surely?
I bet he got a good contract with a decent payout if they get rid of him early to, knowing EJ.
He's great for a quote, but rubbish as a pundit.

Yep. I have no idea what he adds to the mix really... Apart from raising DC's blood pressure..
There was another comment from DC which at the time I nearly wet meself, but now I've forgotten what it was, but it was said with an underlying tone which was "please die a horrible death you moron with no idea what you are talking about"...

There was the quote from DC when they were talking through Jensons Q3 lap and he rounds the last corner onto the pit straight "Even you could drive this bit eddie". In EJiot's defence he wasn't as bad as usual, he maybe mellowing, I could be wrong, but I was on Pistonheads GP thread, when I should have been watching the TV, and must have missed loads...

As Thyroid suggests during the dull parts, EJiot gives us something to moan about, I haven't warmed to him, and I don't think he is playing devil's advocate or agent provocateur, he really is OTT, but compared to Mark Blundell "most definitely Steve", keep him, we will always have someone to throw things at, and we immediately have something in common. Plus the anticipation of his latest Gok Wan outfit is one of the highlights of the broadcast.
