Insurance Renewal -------- Fantastic Quote can it be right !
Discussion
Hi just renewed my 3R insurance with Admiral. Existing insurer quoted £515, Admiral £260 !
Policy has 6000 miles limited mileage but includes NCD protection, windsreen cover (£70 excess) and total excess max of £350 and includes my other half as named driver.
Must be the benefit of old age now being over 50.
Made my day

where do you go for a multicar policy ?
As per my first reply to Bruce's post, mine's with Admiral. I asked lots of questions as I couldn't quite believe it either. Basically each car in our family qualifies(up to five I think).
You don't lose any no claims discount you've earnt on any of the cars.
You can still drive other peoples cars third paty only.
Legal expenses automatically included.
30 (or 60?) days European cover included.
You only pay for the other cars when their renewal arrives and then only a percentage of the annual fee. Then you pay for all cars at the same time with one payment.

Tried all the above ! If your car is standard and you don't go near a track then they will quote otherwise they are not interested !

Try Greenlight, were good for me on modified cars. All depends on postcode with these though.

every little helps!Hi guys,
I just wanted to say a big thankyou to Bruce for posting the link.
I have had my insurance with Directline for nearly 2 months now, but thought i'd give it ago to see what the difference was......it was shocking!
I saved myself nearly £700 all in, and now don't have to worry about insurance until this time next year. I would recommend all Noble owners to give it a try......and for all you fleet owners....the more cars you do the bigger the discounts....up to five cars i believe!
Happy hunting.

Just have to say i got a renewal quote from APlan for £800. Went onto that insriance check site and Admiral quoted me £420!!!!! I couldnt't believe it but after going thru all my details I took the policy up last week. Even cheaper when i get multicar on with the other halfs Honda. All i can say is wow!!! And i'm only 36 unlike some of you old farts.

Just had a play on the site
Nob £191 1 driver
SLK280 £238 2 drivers
Range Rover Sport £232 1 driver
Bloody amazing
In total thats less than I pay for the rangie on our fleet policy and not much more than I paid for the Nob alone last year.
Thanks for the heads up Bruce

Admiral are cheap but if you do a track day you are looking at £250 + for the days insurance on a stand alone policy. Hagerty do trackday cover for £50 but only if you have a policy with them so if you are planning one or more trackdays per year Admiral doesn't look so good. Hagerty also include European breakdown, legal expenses, windscreen cover etc etc and they know their customers personally which to me counts for a bloody lot !
