cheapest f1 race?

What race in the calendar is cheapest to get to in terms of ticket prices, general hotel prices in the area etc?

I need a holiday and want to take the missus to see a grand prix, thanks,

You just missed it,they're was lots a great last minute deals for Barcelona.I think German Grand Prix might be the one to aim for now.

I would have thought Istanbul or Budapest would be cheaper.

Concorde Inn (2 or 3 Km from Sepang) will do you a OK room from about 20 pounds for two people, with breakfast if you book in advance, Pan Pacific do rooms ffrom around 50 pounds at the airport. If you go to Kuala Lumpur, you can stay near the railway station, and get rooms from 5 pound up depends what you want, (Hilton is in the station complex), train then goes to the airport for 7 pounds and taxi to curcuit, or bus for 2 pounds direct ot curcuit. (Take the airport bus and talk the driver to let you off.
Tickits start at 15 pound for 3 days, on the grass. Air Asia from Stansted.

Spa. Easy to get to by car, or train to Brussells. Stay in Holland near Aachen or Maastricht.

Budapest is pretty cheap, but flights and hotels can be expensive.

Monaco is not that expensive so long as you stay east in Italy, near San Remo and catch the train into Monte Carlo each day. Italian hotls are not that expensive.

Not if you're willing to slum it with Ryanair, pretty sure they fly to Budapest from a few UK airports. That said, it's still €110 for general admission for the GP, I'm sure there are cheaper ones on the calender
