Got 2 chips on my bonnet near the leading edge. One is too deep for me to do successfully.

Question is, is it a complete bonnet respray?

Chips Away (national franchise) say they don't do stone chips on bonnets!!! only bumper and side panel scuffs. Sort of makes a mockery of the name.

Those of you that have had stone chips done, was it a full respray or did the body shop manage to blend the paint in?

Thanks.

Get a touch up pin, blob some in the chip until it is higher than the surrounding area.

Leave to dry for a week or so. get a 3M de-nibbing block and 9 micron discs, or failing that some 1500 wet n dry paper and something solid to stick it too.

sand the chip until it is flush with the surrounding area, then use some cutting compound to bring back to a shine. With a straight colour like yours, done right this will be totally invisible
