Alan,

Do you say that because of it's rarity or it's price?

The latter seem to vary wildly with our cars and I still cannot understand TVR pricing confused

Rarity - if my memory servers me right : there were

3 430 SE's
18 450 SE's
15 420 SEAC's
15 450 SEAC's

Think there many be a 420 se too ..

Might be a few out .. but not many.

I always thought there were more 420 seac's built than 450's?

Are your figures actual build numbers or what remains on the road?

Does anyone know how many are left today?

400SE's

450SE's?

420 SEAC's?

450 SEAC's?

etc....

All interesting stuff. smile

I think the topic "Wedge List - Add your car" should be a reasonable indicator of what's left on the road.
I was looking up 390's on it yesterday and only 16 people claim to own one out of the original 103 made. I think
that give or take a couple of cars, a 15% (approx) survival rate after two decades seems reasonable.

What do you think an appropriate price range for that wedge is? The reserve bid of 6K GBP doesn't seem too unreasonable to me.
In fact, I'd buy it for that much without a qualm over price.

I wish I had the money. frown

I did say they are what I recall .. think Steve Heaths bible has more accurate figures.
