Hi all,
I am looking for a budget cycle computer for mtb, started looking on websites and it was all too confusing, i thought i would ask whats hot and whats not
My only criteria is as follows;
1, needs to be small and light
2, needs to tell me how many miles i have racked up
3, a clock would be good
4, prefer wireless as it looks less messy but are they any good?
5, needs to be cheap!!!!!

Thanks in advance guys smile

Hi Jez

I'm no expert but I've just bought this one http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_9693.htm from Aldi and it'll do everything you wanted plus a lot more by the look of it.

However it does have a wire though .... smile

Cheers
Al

I got a Lidl one for a fiver a few weeks back. Its wireless and works perfectly. It even tells you the tempreture.

On my road bike i have the TOPeak V12 mini. Very small, works as intended and can be programmed for two bikes.

i would recomend them both, but the lidl one is 1/5th the cost of the Topeak so id have to say id buy the Lidl one again any day.

I'm running a Tesco one which I bought for £9.70

It is part wireless in that the bit between the front fork/wheel and controller is unwired, but a secondary sensor at the crank has a wire running to it.

Has lots of data - clock, current/average/max speed, tripmeter, odometer, cadence, etc.

Seems to work fine
