Hello all,

I'm off to Le Mans in my little 146 - stickered up of course - just wondering if any other Alfas are going? I know a re Brera is on one of the crossings, but at the mo it seems to be all TVRs and Porkers!

I don't want to be alone...cry

Houx Annex apparently - have a great trip guys - very jealous but not possible this year

not least as I've not long sold the car, but more significantly am working in Ukraine! Have seen a couple of Alfa's out here though: 155 being used as a taxi and a 159 or two

I'll be going hopefully in my dark blue (Caribinieri colour)155 V6 if I get a huge list of jobs sorted on it in time, should be in convoy with my mate's late model 156 also in dark blue.

Give us a wave if you see us v. early Friday morning - I'll be the one on the hard shoulder with my head under the bonnet...

Damn, I saw this thread title and thought that Alfa had announced an LMP 1 or 2 campaign. You had my hopes up for a minute. Damn!

Will do, just as long as you return the wave when you see me!

That GTV6 was in Auto Italia a couple of months back - a 3.5 V6 and plenty of other mods, I think it'd be brilliant fun.

As has been said: Bill's beastie

The last time I was at Le Mans (07) spent the journey there and back tailing that thing (or one of the 3 Spiders we were with). He was part of the group I mentioned were going over.

Yep, That's me. We cruised the Mulsanne a couple of times then went to the car show in Mulsanne village. Was well impressed with the welcome in Mulsanne: "Thank you for bringing your car to our town and here are tickets for complimentary drinks for you and your passneger at the bar down the road". Top bombing! In Blighty these days, you're made to feel like a pariah when you go out in a sports car.

Anyway big thanks to the people of Mulsanne. See you next year!

After that we had a x-country hoon to Arnage to watch the water pistol parades there. Excellent.

Hi Tony, Rick!

Bill.

Right, now it's all gradually sliding into place. I thought I knew who you were, and that it was your car, but confusingly there's someone else on here who is called what you're called everywhere else.

Or something like that. I think. smile

Bit tucked away though, isn't it?? Maybe it should be shown under my nick-name.

I think so. And it should be your full Sunday-best/in trouble with the missis name too.
