Hollowtech II bottom brackets
Discussion
Quick question; is this BB:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?Mod...
(Shimano Bottom Bracket Cups Deore M530/532)
compatible with these cranks:
http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?Mod...
(Shimano LX Chainset HollowTech II M580)
as mine are knackered now and I need to get them fixed before the CLIC24 this weekend.
cheers

The bearings inside the cups are shot. I took them apart yesterday and can wobble the plastic ring the cranks sit in. I would replace them with those larger ones from Goldtec Betd Ltd but time's against me now and I need it fixed asap.
I've got the spacers from the existing cranks that allow it to fit any shell width so should be ok (I hope!)

Is the black plastic shim that sits between the bearing and the spindle still ok? Its the one that snaps into place on the face of the cup, covering the bearing seal.
If so, I'd like to have that from you - one of mine is knackered. Would you mind if I posted you a SAE, that is if you don't want it?
