F430 - brakes, suspension for track

Hi

I've just had the 430 on track for the first time, and the car is close to bottoming out in some compressions and have noticed it occassionally doing this on tighter country roads also.

The brakes were getting inconsistent in feel, and not very impressive at all.

Wondered what other had done?

TBH - i have an Elise as my track car, the 430 was merely used for too short stints at the Motorfair this weekend.

I had the same problems with mine. the 430 understeers like a pig. I had my car lowered and setup to get rid of this and actually sit like a Ferrari but it scraped out everywhere because its just too soft even in race. I suggest a set of springs (novitec i think) + a suspenion geo and the steel Brembo GT discs. Disappointed to say that even Ferrari's ceramic brakes are "squidgy (not on the Scuderia though) and don't inspire confidence, although they stop OK.
