Toe link upgrade necessary for the occassional track day?
Discussion
I've been trying to work out whether to upgrade toe links on my '06 111R and whether the issues mentioned elsewhere are real enough to be a concern.
I track my car on the only circuit in Cape Town (Killarney) every couple of months, totalling approximately 40-60 minutes of balls-to-the-wall track time.
It's currently fitted out with P-Zero's. My guess would be that on road tyres, and for 5 or 6 track sessions a year I should be OK. However, on the other hand I would be able to fit some stickier tires (888's?) with confidence.
If it's recommended to upgrade the toe links then what else should I consider doing at the same time to bolster the suspension?
I would appreciate any feedback.
Thanks.
PS. I saw this kit on Elise-Shop.com, would be interested in your comments or other recommendations:
