Supercar looking kit cars
Discussion
from my searches over time you'll struggle. You tend to either get cars designed by people who think a Reliant Rialto is the height of aesthetics or full on Ultima style lets-squeeze-into-a-sardine-tin-with-a-bubble-on-top.
K1 was a breath of fresh air but I wouldn't have classed it in "supercar" styling, and there are the minor problems with the supply etc of them being non existant.

You might have to do a little digging, but I thought someone in the UK or possibly the Netherlands is prepping a street legal version of this: http://www.sakercars.com.au/main.htm
I don't know if you can really call them "supercar-looking", but the GTM Libra and Spyder look like they belong on the road a lot more than almost everything else IMO.

But supermini!? Gah! Both have 2 seats, the Libra is a coupe, and the Spyder is an effin ragtop! What next, a striking resemblance to a tractor? Well, I suppose lots of them are yellow... seansverige said:

There should have been a "

" at the end there. That said though, that rear end... Massey Ferguson...

What about the Factory Five GTM (an American kit that's entirely unconnected to the UK firm of the same name).
Factory Five Racing UK don't have a demo yet, but they can supply kits.

Kiwi Carguy (normally found on the PH New Zealand Forum) has an almost finished, road-legal one for sale at the moment.

The first picture is not a Saker but an idea of what the finished colour scheme should look like

There was a car around 2003 i saw at Detling, looked like an AMG Mercedes DTM Touring Car. All i remember is it used Totota Celica doors, and looked hard-as-nails and pretty much like it had just pulled off the Nurburgring. And thats a complement coming from someone who HATES Mercedes cars as a rule. Got knows who made it, does anyone remember it??
