If it's wk service then god no!! If it's good service then I defo do!

If they do the stalling thing again, god no.

I had a guy in Florida who told me that his $2 tip (on an $8 pizza) was too little. So I said gimme that $2 back and I'll grab something else. I gave him a quarter and closed the door. I'm sorry, but you'll fking get what your given. It's a tip, not a fking item I've ordered. And breathe...

Should have given him fresh air.

I always tip a takeaway delivery driver at least a £1.

I'm not sure I'd like a mouthful of green flem amongst my curry.

Usually give a pound to the takeaway delivery guy on the basis that if he is making several deliveries on that outing he is moe likely to do mine first! Not sure it works as an idea!

If a takeaway delivers to my house. I will give him a bloody medal.

Nearest takeaway is a fair few miles away, so unfortunately I have to travel.

I know, but I wanted to get his hopes up and give him a penny, but the quarter was the smallest I had!!!

I thought this was going to be a thread about dumping old sofas in lay-bys.

You have to admit, Mr. Pink does make an interesting point though.

It's rare I tip - why would I want to part with more of my money than I have too? If a take-out is £14.20 it's £14.20 not £15.00. If service in a restaurant is particularly good then I will.

Indeed, i'll tip if i believe they have done something more than their job, bringing me food i've paid for, is what they're paid for!!!

Nobody tips me for doing my job, why should i tip them?

I used to tip regardless, and even tip in restaurants where a discretionary service charge was included, but nowadays I try to tip only if the delivery or service was better than average.

We tip the free delivery places (ok, the one place who delivers out to us), but the chinese now charge £5 to deliver, so we don't tip them anymore (used to when it was "just" £4 but for some reason the fiver is too high to tip them)...

Agreed, and my salary doesn't neccassarily reflect the effort I put in. But if you were to say this to someone, the only response you get is "tight bd"

No

When I was in america they charge you $7.50 for a nearly pint of larger.

Then they have the cheek to put a spare glass out. I used it for recipts.
