The sensors give a constant high pitched tone as soon as reverse is engaged and then goes off - Does this mean another BMW money spinning reset is required?
thanks

Could they have dirt covering one of them?

Maybe try giving them a thorough clean and see if that helps

Is this something that has just started happening?? I know the car can be set up to emit a beep if reverse is selcted, it's one of the dealer programable options.

its just started - worked fine up to now - the sensors are clean - the hand book states if a continuous high pitched tone is heard when engaging reverse it needs a dealer diagnostic check !

any other suggestions welcome
thanks
