Really boring Q - 280i electric wing mirror identification

.........what are they off?
Mine are currently held together with a combination of luck, wire and glue. Not so hot - and being clouted a few times hasn't done them any favours, although to be fair they still work!
I did contact TET to see if they could help but alas, these are the wrong type. I really would like to get them replaced as they're the only major thing letting the exterior down now
These are the ones I have:

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Goodness - and I thought you all undervalued V-8s.
Actually I guess the whole market is crappy.
I bought a "perfect" ($60K in 1995) BMW 740iL with $18K of supercharger/suspension/exhaust/power chips for $5,600 USD and sold my beautiful but very tired 1995 XJ-6 VDP (A/C & sunroof not working, many parking dings, 1x flooded, looked like weasels lived in the leather, etc.) for $1,500. Grady

Hi Comadis,
Yes - that's the very same! It is pretty sound, but does need a little work here and there - nothing too major though, just a good going through and tightening up
Do a few little simple tweaks too.
Has PAS & a 5 speeder though, which is a nice bonus. Haven't driven it far at all yet, as I'm going to fully service and check over it first, which will have to wait till next week now. Goes OK though!
One thing that gets me is that the front suspension seems quite nicely damped and rides well, yet the rear feels very firm. Is that normal? There doesn't seem to be anything amiss, by eye, in that department, at least.
Great little piece of machinery, though

From my own experience of an early FHC, the supension IS hard compared to your normal everyday car and to the other (convertible) Wedges I've had, though it should be adjustable with a bit of luck...depends what's been fitted.Yes - that's the very same! It's possible that the rears have either been uprated or had newer parts fitted. The front may just be tired. Not a difficult fix.
How does the ride height compare front to rear ? That could be an indicator.
i thought from beginning that it is this car....
check the outtriggers...i guess you have done this as first job? ...which unfortunately means to remove the sills....
6 months ago a perfect FHC with complete history (paul matthy) was sold for 1400...perfect original paint, 100% original unmolested interior in A1 condition. original chassis with full powder coating, 5 speed, vented discs at front, spax all around, new stainless exhaust, new tyres with correct speed index, NO electric faults and a celebrity former owner: Stuart Hall.

I had until very recently those very mirrors, which to be honest I absolutely hated.
So I fitted these (awaiting paint, once I track down the bloody colour code for the car).............

(note the sticker covering the orginal mounting holes

A not so brilliant view of them from the front.
Brand new electric and heated for a fraction of the cost of the TET items, with the added bonus of easily obtainable replacement glass

They are from a MK4 Fiesta (from ebay for about £25 incl P+P)
They do take a fair bit of
, but it's not too bad if you are handy with a bit of filler

I have fitted the Vitaloni Baby Turbo mirrors to my 84 Tasmin/280i. They look almost exactly like the original but are manual rather than electric, but that's not a big deal to me because once they are set,you don't have to worry about them anyway.
Thanks everybody. Yea, that was what I was thinking too - I was fiddling with the ones in my daily yesterday just to see if they still worked
Getting fully serviced this week (now I've hunted down the correct-length dipstick, as the one in it was wrong) so should be out and about soon. Good fun!
