HELP Headlamp surround needed

I've lost my drivers side headlamp surround. It must have come off on the M4 on Monday. I blame the garage who resprayed the Cerb. This was the first fast, long trip (200miles) that I have done since the respray, and was done at motorway-ish speeds. I asked the garage why it was held on by mastick, they said that that is how they are attached. Has anyone had a headlight conversion which uses new headlight surrounds? and if so would they be prepared to part with them? for the right consideration.

Do you mean the Garage refitted the original type of headlamp surrounds? If so they are secured with Sikaflex - not mastic - AND 4 retaining bolts! I think you should be on the phone to that garage!!

Thanks for the info. The garage will be hearing from me shortly. In the meantime I have managed to buy a new one from TVR Parts, for the princely sum of £51 plus pence, they don't come cheap. I shall be looking for some form of recompense from the garage.
