Tam springs and shocks - no?

Looks like I'm in for a battle to get my shocks replaced under warranty.

So.

I'm considering replacing all 4 springs and shocks with new TVR ones and claiming the cost back off the warranty company through the small claims court.

I may lose but I'm not prepared to accept that 4 shocks can burst on a 5 year old car due to normal wear and tear.

Anyway - would I need to do anything in terms of setting up the suspension? As far as I can see the factory fitted shocks are not adjustable. Ride height is set by means of the lower spring collar which is on a screw thread.

Am I missing something or will that be OK?

I replaced mine when it was 5 years old, leaking dampers and rear springs bust.

Did you just replace with new 'like for like' parts?

I'm slightly confused by talk of 'corner weighting'.

Presumably that is only necessary (whatever it is) for adjustable shocks?

Replaced mine at 4years a 20k miles the rears where both leaking, It appears thats the norm in terms of age & miles
