Assuming you are looking to sell, you should get more privately but then you have to deal with the timewasters and payment and so on.

Although i'm tempted with the offer, giving it some thought i think i could get around £11.5k private, hassle but doing a search on the trader there aren't many this spec or price.

My advice would be to take the offer. Yes there are a few for sale for more, but that is just it. They are still for sale. The asking and selling price will be different. I have been watching this market for a while and have just bought a Alpina B3. The 330i was also an option.
I would put money on the cars for sale today will still be for sale in a couple of weeks. There are too many cars to choose from.

I'd sell it your self ... Its a bit more hassle but you'll probably get another 750 - 1k over what the dealer is offering without too many problems.

I would have snapped your hand off in a private sale!
